The geology and geography of Colorado is represented in 21st Century Artifacts at Denver International Airport. Colored terrazzo is inlaid with stone patterns, precast concrete shapes derived from fossil forms found in Colorado, and cast bronze. The bronze images depict indigenous fossils, and Native American symbols and names of notable Colorado areas. -- Mark Villarreal
